About Us

Mr. Guth's Music Studio has been a fixture at Centennial Hall since 1998. Mr. Guth's focus isn't just on "learning an instrument". It is his goal to help young people develop their creative thinking, organizational and decision making skills that they will need as adults, as well as the self discipline and accountability that are necessary in the pursuit of any intellectual endeavor. Music, as an art form, is the perfect vehicle for such pursuits and one in which Gene is very passionate about. It is Mr. Guth's hope that in studying music, his own student will develop their own passion for music or any other creative endeavor for that matter. With adult students, Guth focuses on the musical goal of each musician and helps them find performing groups that fit their aspiration.
